| The Foundation for AGAPE of North Alabama, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,
dedicated to the promotion and furtherance of the purposes and goals of AGAPE of North Alabama, Inc. Founded in 1999, leaders of the
Foundation work closely with AGAPE’s Executive Director and Board of Directors.
Purposes and Goals:
- The promotion of an overall positive image of AGAPE and their placement of children with foster and potential adoptive families.
- Assistance in the fundraising efforts of AGAPE through the investment of tax-deductible contributions directed to the Foundation.
Board of Trustees:
- The Foundation is led by an independent Board of Trustees, consisting of up to five members. Board members serve five-year terms.
- To help coordinate the efforts of AGAPE and the Foundation, it is acceptable for one member to serve on both Boards.
- Current Board members include Ted Nietzold, Henry Bragg, Paula McInnish and Kevin Gray.
