Unplanned pregnancies occur and, when they do, AGAPE of North Alabama is here for birthmothers and others who are affected. We're here to offer on-going support and to answer questions. Our licensed social workers can assist with decision-making and planning throughout your pregnancy.

Services We Can Provide:

Counseling: We offer free pregnancy counseling to birthmothers, birthfathers, and extended family members. Our focus is on making a decision that the birthmother and birthfather can feel good about for the rest of their lives. If you decide adoption is the correct decision for you and your child, counseling will continue even after the adoption is finalized to help birthparents cope with any loss or grief they may feel.

Medical Care: We can help you to locate prenatal care and to apply for financial assistance through Medicaid.

Community Resource Referrals: We can help you to locate resources in the community such as employment assistance, housing assistance, and educational assistance.
