Purposes:
- To promote an overall positive image of AGAPE.
- To provide a framework for volunteer services to children and
families.
- To aid in fundraising efforts of AGAPE.
ALANA provides:
- Volunteers
- Car seats
- School supplies
- Clothing
- Gift bag with toiletries and a Bible for maternity clients
- Fire extinguishers and smoke detectors for foster homes
- Layettes for babies coming into foster care
- Food pantry and clothes closet for foster families
Fundraising Projects:
- Avon Sales (at Mother's Day and Christmas)
- Pecan Sales (in the Fall)
- Bake Sale at AGAPE's Annual Auction
Meetings:
- Quarterly
- Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
- You will notified of the meeting location, always in the
Huntsville/Madison county area.
Membership:
- $10.00 per year for any lady interest in being personally involved
in helping needy children. To join, mail your dues to ALANA, c/o AGAPE
of North Alabama, P.O. Box 3887, Huntsville, AL 35810-3887. Please
include your name, address, and phone number.
